What is it? • ApplyYourself is the back-end application software used by the Graduate School to process applications and admit new students. • This is where you will go to view applications, download them/print them, and make offers of admission. • AY replaces Embark • https://webcenter.applyyourself.com

  4. ApplyYourself from the Student Point-of-View: Students join and fill out interest page on My GradSpace. This information is collected by Hobsons Connect. After registering, they will be directed to the My GradSpace home. From here, they can find out more information about programs of interest and apply to programs of interest.   5. ApplyYourself from the Student Point-of-View: This is the My GradSpace interface. From here, students can find more information about programs of interest as well as apply for admission. APPLY HERE!

ApplyYourself from the Student Point-of-View: • Helpful Info: • Applications remain in the system for one year. • Individual departments and the Grad School will not be able to see the application until the student hits “submit” • Students will pay application fees online. To log in to the application, use your My Gradspace account & password. Students must enter their birth date and zip code as well as agree to the terms and conditions of the application program. They will then hit “Continue and Create New Account” at the bottom of the page(not pictured). drhouse ******

  7. ApplyYourself from the Student Point-of-View: Students will need to fill out every section under the “Application for Admission” section. The “Supplemental Forms” are not required for all students.

  8. Apply Yourself from the Student’s Point of View: Supporting documents and additional questions can be uploaded directly into the AY website. These will be converted into PDF format and attached to the student’s application online. Students will fill out each section of the application to the best of their knowledge online. They can start and stop as they see fit so long as they hit “save & continue.”

  9. The Last Step for Students: • Students provide recommenders to AY, which sends them an e-mail. Recommenders can fill out a form online through AY or send in a separate letter of recommendation to the Graduate School. • Students will be able to track their application through links on My GradSpace.

  11. Logging in to Apply: The Client ID for UND is NDUSUNDGR. You will need to use this ID whenever you log in to Apply. NDUSUNDGR username password Your user name and password will be e-mailed to you once you complete this training.

  12. Success! When you have successfully logged into the system, you will see this screen. Depending on your level of access, this menu may have different options. To enter the application management tool, move your cursor to “Select a System.” From here, click “Application.” You have now entered the application system.

  13. Searching for Applications: • To search for applications, click on the “Search for Applications link on the AY toolbar.

  14. Searching for Applications: • A new page will open with several query options. • To search by creation or submission date, select “Search by Date” • To search by name, zip code or e-mail, select “Search by Individual” Gregory House

  16. Applicant Record Information & Application • There are several sources of information available for you to view information about the applicant.

  17. Viewing Applications: • You have two options by which to view applications: • Click on the PDF logo next to an applicant’s name to view a PDF version of their application. • Click on the person’s name to view individual parts of their application in your web browser. (see next page)
