  3. The Maasai is among the best known of African ethnic groups. They speak maa language.

  4. Usually Maasai society dominated by patriarchy, important decisions are taken by elderly men.But there isn’t formal system of punishment.

  5. Generally disputes are resolved given the cattle. Also cattle as a symbol of wealth.

  6. The Maasai one divine religion, the gods are called Enga. Dual nature of Enga only one god: Enga Narok (Black God) helpful, Enga Nanyokie (Red God) is punitive

  7. The majority of Masai were converted to Christianity, there are also a number of Moslem . Some of the Maasai(setted in the city) have become assimilated.
