  2. WW2 Starts American had several Dealings with Britain during WW2, Several Dealings were made after the Blitzkrieg, for Britain had lost France. There was the Destroyer for Bases, and Lend-Lease plan.

  3. War! • On December 7th, 1941, Japan made a Strike at Pearl Harbor, Disabling and/or Destroying 19 ships, 2 Battleships were raised back into service during the war. 200 planes and 2.3k men were killed. Parts of Asia begin to fall to Japan. FDR Asks for war on 12-8-1941. Congress Approves.

  4. Hawaii Campaign Campaign • This Campaign started with Pearl Harbor. The Major Battles were: Pearl Harbor All 3 Battles at midway Iwo Jima The battle at the Coral Sea Aircraft Carriers were a major part of WW2

  5. Africa Campaign • Once America Entered the war, General Eisenhower is ordered to Take Command of the Counter Offensive in North Africa, The Invasion was Successful, and Germany surrendered. This was the Second Major Blow to the German Army, the first being The Defeat at Stalingrad

  6. Invasion of Sicily • In the Largest Amphibious Invasion in history, 250k Troops landed. The Allies Victory Led to Italy’s Surrender, However, Germany was still in the fight, and so was Japan The Germans Probably Blamed Italy for the Loss.

  7. D-Day • D-Day, was the Largest Land-Air-Sea Operation of All Time, it was commenced at night in June 6th, 1944. There were several Major Areas: River Orne-Paratrooper Division Sword Beach Juno Beach Gold Beach Omaha Beach And Utah Beach

  8. Battle of the Bulge (Battle of the Leyte Gulf: Largest Naval Battle in HISTORY) The Battle of the Bulge was a last ditch operation Performed by the Germans. Their Defeat lead to their Surrender The surrender is known as V-E day

Almost the End • America had been Island Hopping, Or, Retaking Island by Island, since 1943 We struck at Okinawa, but it was a bad Defeat, over 30 Ships were destroyed by Kamikaze Missions (KAMIKAZEEEEE) America needed to Make Japan Surrender, so they made the A-Bomb. The Atom Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki

  10. The End • Japan Surrendered, this was known as V-J day (Makes more sense than V-E day…) There was only 1 Term: The Emperor Must remain in Power
