Conferencing Time Objectives: • A platform for FT/Co-FT to get to know the students better on a one-to-one basis, and vice versa, to strengthen teacher-student relationship (TSR). • A platform where students are open to share/discuss issues/topics that are relevant to their lives, and FT/Co-FT being there to listen, support and/or guide whenever possible.

  13. Conferencing Time Objectives: • A platform where FT/Co-FT can improve social-emotional competencies in students. • A platform where FT/Co-FT can sieve out potential at-risk students and provide timely intervention and support. • A platform for FT/Co-FT to do target-setting with students.

  14. Conferencing Time Schedule: • Every Tue to Fri, 0745 to 0800 (excluding common test period, exam period and post-exam period). • Commence in Term 1 Week 3 (17 Jan onwards).

Guidelines for students • Teachers inform the class what the homework / project / test date is. • Class Chairman / Subject Representative update the homework / project / test on the chart accordingly. • Every student is expected to actively keep track of the due dates for submission of homework, projects and test dates.

  30. Attendance Your child/ward: • must clock-in &-out using the E-fingerprint System, • must inform the General Office by 7.30am (Tel: 67691031), if he/she is unable to attend school, • must produce MC or letter of excuse (max. of 3 per semester) to Form Teacher when reporting back to school.

  35. Fill up the compulsory fields. (Name of child, NRIC, Class.)

  36. Check the type of information that you want to update. The menu will be expanded for you to fill in the information that needs to be changed.

  37. Fill in the details that you want the school to update (leave the others blank) and click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.

  38. You will receive a “Thank You” message once you have successfully updated your particulars.

  39. Absence from School

  40. Submission of Relevant Documents • Absence from school must be supported by a medical certificate (MC) or letter of excuse from the parent, together with any relevant supporting documents. • These must be handed in to the FT/Co-FT the very day the student returns to school. • Max of 3 letters per semester.

Submission of Relevant Documents • Letters from parents/guardians must be written on proper writing paper with the following information provided: • Student’s name and class • Parent/Guardian’s name, signature, contact number • If absentees are unable to produce the relevant documents when they report back to school, FT/Co-FT will be contacting the parents.

  42. Frequent/Persistent Absenteeism • Parental letters will not be accepted and the school will insist the student produce an MC (case by case basis). • FT/Co-FT will arrange to meet parents for discussion • If necessary, the FT/Co-FT will involve the Discipline Master or Committee.

Absent during Examinations • Students are strongly encouraged to sit for the exams. • Those who are unwell must produce a medical certificate. • No provisions will be made for students to take supplementary exams if they are absent. • Students who are absent without a valid reason will be awarded a zero mark.
