  2. JANUARY 2013 Plantation of trees t İskele Municipality Folk Dance Group Forest due to the celebration of National Forest Day and for the memory of the group’s 26th year.

  3. FEBRUARY 2012 1- Conference about Traditional Music,Costume and Dance Techniques Date: 9-10th February, 2013 Location: Iskele Municipality ATATURK Culture Center The conference will be presented by Music teacher Mr. Mustafa Eralp Kutbittin , costume designer Mrs. SadiyeDestur and choreographer Mr. TanjuHastunc.  2- 26th Year Celebration Activity Programme of the Group due to its establishment in February 2012: (The activities will take place in February and March, 2013) a) Visit to The Mayor of Iskele, Head Officer of Iskele and other Government b) Plantation of trees to Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group Forest. c) Changes on the armorial and the poster of Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group. d) Organization of a Turkish Night.

  4. march 2013 • 8TH OF MARCH INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY • Informative conference for the women of Iskele in Iskele Municipality ATATURK Culture Center. • NATIONAL MEDICINE DAY • Visit to the Health Center of Iskele. • NATIONAL ELDERS WEEK • Visit to Sınırustu Nation Foundation and elders in Iskele. • LIBRARY WEEK • Visit to Iskele Library. • 27TH OF MARCH, WORLD THEATRE DAY • Performance of a play in Iskele Municipality ATATURK Culture Center.

International Festivals Association Meeting. • Participation to the International Festivals Association Meeting in Gaziantep Municipality in Istanbul • (05th-07thApril,2013) April 2013 23rd April, Children Festival (INTERNATIONAL) 15th International Children and Peace Festival Date: 18-25th of April, 2013 Location: Iskele–Nicosia-Famagusta-Kyrenia 23rd April, Children Festival (NATIONAL) 15th Children Festival will be organized by Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group with the help of Iskele Municipality. (Folk Dance Performances, Music and Dance) Date: 26th of April, 2013 Time: 18:30 Location: Iskele Municipality Open Air Culture Center Composition and Drawing Competition about 23rd of April All students of the primary schools in the town of Iskele can participate in this competition and the top three grades will be rewarded.

May2013 • CIOFF SOUTH AFRICA SECTOR MEETING:Participation to the CIOFF South Africa Sector Meeting in Italy • MOTHERS` DAY: • Celebration cards to the mothers in Iskele with the opinion of the Iskele Municipality council members. • YOUTH FESTIVAL (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC) • With the help of Iskele Municipality, Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group will organize 156h Youth Festival with the participation of local secondary and high schools. There will be folk dance, music and dance shows. In addition, a music group will attend to the festival. • Date: 17th May, 2013 • Time: 19:00 • Location: Iskele Municipality Open Air Culture Center • CONFERENCE ‘NO TO DRUGS’ • A conference will take place in order to inform youth and their parents about the harms of using drugs. • Date: 19th May, 2013 • Time: 20:00 • Location: Iskele Municipality Atatürk Culture Center • FOR COMPOSITION AND READING POEMS FOR THE 19TH MAY, YOUTH AND SPORT FESTIVAL • There will be activities due to the celebration of 19th of May, in memory of Ataturk and Youth and Sport Festival and the students from Bekirpasa High School and Iskele Ticaret High School will be rewarded with the results of the competition.

  7. june 2013 • 1ST OF JUNE, WORLD CHILDREN DAY • Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group members will take children to a picnic and organize fun activities for them. • 5TH OF JUNE, WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY • Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group members will organize the activity of cleaning the environment. A photo and a film show may also take place. • FATHERS’ DAY • Celebration cards to the fathers in Iskele with the opinion of the Iskele Municipality council members.

  8. july 2013 • 18TH INTERNATIONAL ISKELE MUNICIPALITY FOLK DANCE FESTIVAL • With the help of sponsors, Iskele Municipality and Governmental and Turkish Republic Aid Foundation. • Performances • Special Nights organized by the Guest Countries; they will present their culture and traditions with hand-works, folk dance performances and food. • Authentic Costumes Show • Beauty Competition of the festival and Sponsors. • Gala Night • Presentation of Special Rewards • 5 attendants from each guest country will be taken for lunch to families in Iskele. The aim is to introduce local food and show our hospitality to our guests. • Guest group leaders will visit the Mayor of Iskele with a girl and a boy dancer. • Lunch and dinner organized by the Mayor of Iskele for the guests. • Food Competition. • INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS • Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group will attend to Germany Folk Dance Festival.

  9. August2013 INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group will attend to a folk dance festival in Samsun and Izmir in Turkey.

  10. september 2013 INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS Iskele Municipality Adults (Master)Folk Dance Group will attend to Gaziantep International Folk Dance Festival NEW TERM REGISTRATIONS a) Junior Group: Monday (14:00-16:00) b) Small Group: Monday and Wednesday (16:30-18:30) c) Young Group (Stars): Monday- Wednesday- Friday (18:00-19:00) d) Adults Group (Young Adults): Tuesday- Wednesday- Friday (18:30-21:00) (There will also be rehearsals on Saturdays and Sundays if necessary) e) Music Rehearsals: Wednesday – Fridsay - Saturday f) Adults (Master)Folk Dance Group: Monday (19:00-21:00)

  11. October 2013 ATTENDANCE FESTIVALS ASSOCIATION WINTER MEETING The director of Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group, Mr. OzlemKadiraga, and some members of the municipality council will attend to the meeting in Turkey

  12. november 2013 43TH CIOFF WORLD CONGRESS The Mayor of Iskele, Mr. HalilOrun , and Mr. OzlemKadiraga will attend to the 43th CIOFF World Congress in Mexico CELEBRATIONS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS IN NOVEMBER,15. Various activities and celebrations will take place.

  13. december 2013 21ST OF DECEMBER, MEMORIAL NIGHT OF THE SOLDIERS WHO DIED IN THE WAR. Iskele Municipality Folk Dance Group, with the help of Iskele Municipality, will organize a night with İlker Karter Primary School, Bekirpasa High School and Iskele Ticaret High School. Date: 24th December, 2013 Time: 19:00 Location: Iskele Municipality Atatürk Culture Center NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS a) Junior Group Date: 24th of December,2012 Time: 18:00 – 20:00 b) Young and Adult Groups Date: 249h of December, 2012 Time: 19:30 The Mayor of Iskele, Mr. Halil İ.Orun, Municipality Council Members and members of the group will attend.
