  1. Fulbright BEST (Business Exchange and Student Training) is a program created to facilitate cultural exchange in the young generation of scientists with an entrepreneurial project, proposing a model based on innovation and technological transfer. • The program, promoted by the US Embassy in Rome and managed by the Fulbright Commission, is aimed at young researchers in the fields of ICT, Biotech, Tools and Machinery, Energy and Green Technology working on promising entrepreneurial ideas, resulting from research projects, to be transformed into a business to be managed first hand. • In the first four phases participants had the opportunity of a six month full immersion in Silicon Valley, an area in California where some of the global companies which have been leading players in the growth over the last twenty years were born. Participants attended courses on innovative entrepreneurship, marketing, finance and company management at the University of Santa Clara and an internship in a high growth potential company.

  2. Starting from 2012, participants request a $ 35,000 dollar scholarship and a travel allowance to : • Attend a one academic year program (no less than 8 months) in entrepreneurship, or an MBA on Entrepreneurship offered by an American university, • Participate in an internship program in a venture-backed company.
