April • Events all year round: Culture • Every 1st Thursday of the month: Genres d’à côté (GDAC) shows a gay or lesbian movie at 21:30 at Cinéma Arenberg – Galerie de la Reine 26 – 1000 Brussels. More information on: www.gdac.org • Every 3rd Thursday of the month: Les Gueulantes at the Rainbow House: democratic debates on themes related to questions of gender and minority sexualities. More information at www.gdac.org/gueulante_gdac.php3 • Every Sunday from 20 to 23:00 : Bang Bang on Pure FM, the queer magazine on gay and lesbian cultures. April is the fourth month of the year in the Gregorian Calendar, and one of four months with a length of 30 days. April was originally the second month of the Roman calendar, before January and February were added by King NurnaPompilius about 700 BC. May 16 May: 14th Belgian Lesbian & Gay Pride.More information on www.blgp.be June At EGOW toowegetinto intense debates… June: Fête de la musique music celebration with more than 500 concerts in Brussels and Wallonia. The event marks the start of the summer and the launch of the festival season.

You will see that groups have already been created (e.g. creative writing) and you can also create your own group about your passion, hobbies, anything! • Join also the EGOW Facebook Group Belgian national day on July, 21st: 1831 - Inauguration of Léopold I of Belgium, first king of the Belgians. Create a music group on the Google Group and meet famous rock stars! August ‘Ecran total’ cinema Arenberg: Old movies of all kind for the Nostalgics. September Create a reading group on the Google Group and share good books with others… Watch out for the BGS Party (Brussels Gay Sports) as part of the Brussels Games

  9. October Watch out for the 8th edition of the Pink Screens, the alternative gay, lesbian and trans movie festival organised by Genres d’à côté at Cinéma Nova - Rue d'Arenberg 3 - 1000 Brrussels.
