Emergency Mask EM Design is based on heritage mask already in service with DoD… with a change in hood material to improve flammability resistance and permeation resistance, but… Gore hood • One size fits all • Seals at the neck • Dual bayonet connectors accommodate either: • Two Fire Cartridges • Two 3M Ammonia Cartridges • Hardware Overview Visor Adjustable head strap Butyl Rubber Neckdam Inhalation port (2x) w/ keyed bayonet fittings The hood material touches almost every interface in the mask Exhalation port Emergency Mask without Cartridges (Front) Emergency Mask with Fire Cartridges (Side)
