  1. St. Bede’s CYO is asking you to “RE-USE YOUR SHOES” The St. Bede’s Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Teams have placed two drop boxes in the hallway connecting the Church and School. Please donate any gently used shoes to help this worthy cause. RE-USE YOUR SHOES was started by a local Bucks County business owner who is married to a Marathon runner. Over time he noticed during his wife’s training that perfectly good pairs of shoes would become beyond race condition but in perfect condition for average use. That’s when the “RE-USE YOUR SHOES” program started appearing at races throughout the year, and eventually placing “drop boxes” around Bucks County. The shoes are collected and re-distributed to worthy causes throughout the surrounding area such as A Woman’s Place, Bethesda Project, Laurel House, and Libertae Family House, to name a few. You can visit their website, www. Reuseyourshoes.com, to learn more about them. Thank You.
