  7. GROUP WORK • As part of our roles we are to come together as a collaborative group and work on 2D drawings, renders and flythrough. This is kept consistent through using the same presents and Artlanis files to create the multimedia presentations to a consistent standard. • Modelling of the project is kept consistent through using similar library products, textures and materials throughout to give consistency. • Furthermore with the recent leaving of a group member from our group we have all collaborated to construct the mesh and landscape that was previously assigned to this member to a less detailed standard to ensure the project completion.

GRANNY FLAT REDESIGN • Cutting the mesh out to allow for enlargement of the ‘bathhouse’ into a granny flat. • INCREASING THE FLOOR AREA OF THE BATHOUSE TO ALLOW FOR AN EXPANSION INTO A GRANNY FLAT. • Adding a bedroom to the bathhouse. • ADDING A KITCHENETTE TO THE BATHHOUSE. • INCREASING THE SIZE OF WINDOWS TO MAXIMISE VIEWS. • CHANGING THE ROOF TO A FLAT ROOF TO ALLOW FOR THE DECK TO EXTEND OVER THE TOP OF THE BATHHOUSE AS A LOOKOUT POINT. • ADDING CUSTOMISED TEXTURES TO THE WALLS AND FLOORS INSIDE THE BATHOUSE. • ADDING STAIRWELL ACCESS FROM THE GRANNYFLAT TO THE LOOKOUT POINT. • ADDING FURNITURE TO THE GRANNY FLAT. • ADDING LIGHTS AND OBJECTS INTO THE GRANNY FLAT.

GROUND FLOOR REMODELLING • FIX UP EXTERIOR WALL PLACEMENT WITH LF • CHANGE WINDOW CONFIGURATION AND PLACEMENT CORRECTNESS WITH LF • CHANGE OBJECTS AND FURNIATURE AND MODIFY THE EXISTING TO SUIT DEISGN • INCLUDE NEW TEXTURES TO WALLS, FLOORS AND OBJECTS • CHANGE INTERIOR LAYOUT OF WALLS AND DOORS • MODEL SHADE SCREENING DEVICES TO INTERIOR WINDOWS (COMPLEX PROFILE) • FIX UP STAIRS AND CHANGE PROFILE SETTINGS • FIX BALISTRATE AND CHANGE TO SUITABLE APPEARANCE • WORK WITH LF TO INCLUDE INDOOR/OUTDOOR PATIO AT FRONT • WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH GROUP FOR FINAL 2D PRESENTATION AND FLYTHROUGH • COMPILE INDIVIDUAL SUBMISSION • CREATE 2X RENDERS OF INTERIOR DESIGNED VIEWS INCLUDING PEOPLE • Project Manager Role • Conduct weekly meetings in tutorial times • Post regular blog updates and Facebook updates • Keep group members up to date with tasks and roles and enforce completion dates • Provide assistance for group members with research and ideas for modelling • Ensure weekly objectives are met so that we can submit the finalised project on time and on date. • Mark role for attendance

BASEMENT REMODELLING • ADJUSTMENT AND CORRECTION OF ALL WALLS, WALL JUNCTIONS AND THE SLAB. • REMODELLING THE EXISTING LAYOUT OF THE EXTERNAL WALLS AND THE INTERNAL WALLS AND DOORS; TO INCLUDE A MASTER BEDROOM WITH A FEATURE WALL AND A DOUBLE BEDROOM. • ADJUSTING WINDOWS; SIZES, PLACEMENT, MATERIALS. • REMOVING/CHANGING THE EXISTING OBJECTS AND FURNITURE AS TO COMPLIMENT THE DESIGN • APPLY NEW TEXTURES TO THE OBJECTS, FLOORS, WALLS, DOORS, WINDOWS ETC, AS TO COMPLIMENT THE DESIGN. • ADJUSTING AND MAKING CHANGES OF PROFILE TO THE STAIRCASE. • INCLUDE ACCESS TO THE SMALL GARDEN • WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH THE GROUP FOR: DESIGN DECISIONS AND IMPLIMENTATION; THE FINAL 2D PRESENTATIONS AND FLY-THROUGH. • CREATING 2X INTERNAL RENDERS OF THE REMODELLED BASEMENT DESIGN; THE VIEWS TO INCLUDE PEOPLE • COMPILING MY INDIVIDUAL SUBMISSION

FIRST FLOOR EXTENSION • As sole designer of the first floor extension I will need to work independently as well as collaboratively with the designers of the ground, first and second floors. • Teamwork will be required as I will be changing existing designs, requiring communication between myself and the previous designer in order to create a fluid and efficient floor plan. • I will discuss with the group any changes to the existing before, during and after making any amendments. • I will listen to each architects perspective on my plans and consider any feedback, positive or negative, given. • I will endeavour to work to the best of my abilities, whilst maintaining connection with the guidelines and goals of my group. • As website administrator I will enable group communication to flow efficiently through accurate grouping of topics and themes, and enable locations for information to be posted and read quickly. • The website should reflect the image, style of the group. • Draft extension • Discuss extension with group • Collaborate with group members whose areas are affected • Construct extension in archiCAD • Collaborate with others to choose textures • Design furniture layout • Final touches • Put design in Artlantis • Enhance textures and render and photoshop • Website Creation • Website construction (Groups, Post Collation) • Continued Website updates
