  5. Unchangeable Christ is “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Rev.1:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Heb.13:8

  7. Unchangeable His Attitude is • Toward Sin • John 8:24 and Rom. 6:23 • Toward disbelief • Mark 16:16 • Toward error • Matt. 15:9-13 • Toward Man • John 15:13,14

  8. We need the same GOSPEL Given in 1st century It Shows Our Faults James 1:23-25 - like a mirror Heb. 4:12,13 - pierces like a sword All of us have sinned “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Rom. 3:23

  9. We need the same GOSPEL Given in 1st century Separates us from Sin Rom. 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

  10. We need the same GOSPEL Given in 1st century It Humbles Men We see how helpless we are Draws us down to size 1 Cor. 15:19 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”

When we obey the Gospel New Life We get rid of our old man Born Again 8. “But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” Col.3:8-10

  15. TheUnchanging Gospel In aChanging World • The Gospel does not change • It is the same today as was for our parents or grandparents • Man does not have any Right or Need to change the gospel
