  2. OBJECTIVES • Energise the legal profession sector. • Connect law firms in order to establish professional synergies that emphasise cooperation, which we understand as an asset for both our clients and our profession. • Work on networking.

  3. 2011 TRADE FAIR WORK PLAN

WEDNESDAY, 2 FEBRUARY 2011.6:00 PM OPENING SESSION Participants of the First Trade Fair of the Legal Profession in Europe and the Mediterranean Arc will be welcomed at the Palauet Casades, the emblematic headquarters of the Barcelona Bar Association, where they will be given their registration badges.

THURSDAY, 3 February 2011 MORNING AND MIDDAY EVENING AND NIGHT • From 9.00 AM to 12:30 PM: • Agenda program: International participants will have pre-arranged meetings with lawyers / law firms of ICAB members according to their interests, specialities and requests. First visit from 9.00 AM to 10:30 AM. Second visit from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. • Open program The participants who have not chosen the agenda program can meet at the Trade Fair headquarters to network and learn about commercial products. - From 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM: Breakfast. - From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: presentation of products.... (law book publication, computer program, financial product, etc.). - From 11:30 AM to 12:30 AM: Coaching sessions. • From 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. • Participants, grouped by the organisation according to their stated interests and specialities, will share a working lunch in groups of 20-25 people, organised in a round table. From 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Conferences. Between 3 to 5 simultaneously different conferences Possible subjects: - Situation of the economic sector in a certain area of Barcelona; Marketing for lawyers; Patents and trade marks; Services Directive, the Single Window; Protection of consumers of legal products; Compatibility and incompatibility with the law profession; Networking, Coaching, Continuing education; ISO 9001 and similar Quality Management certifications; Negotiation techniques; etc. From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.Open, with the possibility of a planned visit to a museum (MNAC, MACBA, Picasso Museum, etc.). 8:00 PM. Dinner (emblematic location: La Pedrera, El Palacio de la Música... / Ballet, opera, guided tour of Barcelona night life...).

  7. WORK PLAN • May – September 2010. Survey and compilation of participant details. • October – December. Registrations. • January. Organisation of agendas. • REGISTRATIONS: • INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION: As many registration badges as there are individual registrations will given out, entitling the person to attend all events and scheduled activities. Discounts will be given for the registration of two or more lawyers from the same law firm. • GROUP REGISTRATION: A single registration badge, without a person´s name, will be handed out for access to the premises
