  3. “War Pigs”- Black Sabbath • Listen to the lyrics of “War Pigs” and answer the following questions. “Generals gathered in their masses Just like witches at black masses Evil minds that plot destruction Sorcerers of death's construction In the fields the bodies burning As the war machine keeps turning Death and hatred to mankind Poisoning their brainwashed minds Oh lord yeah! “

Who does the artists refer to as “Witches”? • What do you think the “War Machine” is? “No more war pigs have the power Hand of God has struck the hour Day of judgment, God is calling On their knees the war pig's crawling Begging mercy for their sins Satan laughing spreads his wings!” • What do you think the artists mean by “Day of Judgment”? • Why do you think the artists created this song?
