  14. Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

  22. Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King: Peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinner reconciled” Joyful, all ye nations, rise, Join the triumph of the skies; With the angelic host proclaim, Christ is born in Bethlehem!” Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.” Christ, by highest heaven adored; Christ, the Everlasting Lord! Late in time behold Him come, Offspring of the Virgin’s womb; Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; Hail the Incarnate Deity, Pleased as man with men to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel. Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.” Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of Righteousness! Light and life to all he brings, Risen with healing in his wings. Mild He lays His glory by, Born that man no more may die, Born to raise the sons of earth, Born to give them second birth. Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.”

  23. Luke 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. 16. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

  24. Shepherds Watch Their Flocks Nyájat őrző pásztorok Shepherds watch their flocks by night When heaven's light shines forth, Fulfilling the ancient prochecies By breaking nights’despair Clothed in flesh our Savior came To the world as a humble babe. In Jesus we receive new life. Trust in Him; Be not afraid! Though yonder in a humble manger sleeps This babe of gentle mein. This is the Creator The dayspring in our darkness. Clothed in flesh our Savior came To the world as a humble babe. In Jesus we receive new life. Trust in Him; Be not afraid! Angel voices sweetly sing Jesus Christ has come, Hear all peoples of the earth God has sent His Son. Clothed in flesh our Savior came To the world as a humble babe. In Jesus we receive new life. Trust in Him; Be not afraid!

  25. The first Noel, the angel did say, Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay; In fields where they lay keeping their sheep, On a cold winter’s night that was so deep. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the king of Israel. They looked up and saw a star Shining in the east, beyond them far, And to the earth it gave great light, And so it continued both day and night. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the king of Israel. Then let us all with one accord Sing praises to our heavenly Lord, That hath made heaven and earth of naught, And with His blood mankind hath bought. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the king of Israel.

  26. It came upon the midnight clear, That glorious song of old, From angels bending near the earth To touch their harps of gold: “Peace on the earth, goodwill to men, From heaven’s all gracious King”: The world in solemn stillness lay To hear the angels sing. And ye, beneath life’s crushing load, Whose forms are bending low, Who toil along the climbing way With painful steps and slow, Look now! For glad and golden hours Come swiftly on the wing: O rest beside the weary road, And hear the angels sing. For lo, the days are hastening on, By prophet bards foretold, When, with the encircling years, Comes round the age of gold: When peace shall over all the earth Its ancient splendors fling, And the whole world give back the song Which now the angels sing.

  27. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

  28. John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved

  29. O Come all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem! Come and behold Him, Born the King of angels; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord. Child, for us sinners poor and in the manger,We would embrace Thee, with love and awe;Who would not love Thee, loving us so dearly? O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord. Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation! O sing, all ye bright hosts of heaven above; Glory to God, all Glory in the highest. O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord. Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, Born this happy morning, Jesus, to Thee be all glory given; Word of the Father, Now in flesh appearing; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.
