2. MissionStatement • To stop worldwide deforestation • Raise awareness about the effects of deforestation • Could be the number one cause of climate change due to the inability to absorb CO2 • Half the tropical forests have been cleared. • We are losing 20 football fields a minute.

3. Situation • Basement Office • Limited Space • Old Computers • No employees

4. Actions • Renting a small office space for two months • 4,642.50 per year • $7.50 per square foot • Hiring employees • One year round employee, three college age students for the summer. • $ 11.00 per hour for 8 hour day • $9.50 per hour 5 hour day

6. Recommendation • Rent: Is a total of 4,642.50 for the first two months. At $7.50 per square foot. • Employment: We would like to perform interviews and hire four employees. At a five hour day for two months a total salary cost is $2,897.50 • While an eight hour day is a total of $5,368. This person gets more due to full employment. • Computers are Microsoft Recline • We are looking at purchasing four computer stations for Total of $4,400. • We will also need to pay the computer installers and Plumber around $300.

7. Implementation • Make our down payment on the first two months of our rental space. • Advertise the need for employees. Conduct interviews with all acceptable applicants, until we find four suitable employees. • Purchase four Microsoft Reclines and have them installed into our new office space. • Write out employees pay checks for the first two months. • Reimburse the movers for moving our furniture and decks into the new office space.

8. Implementation • Overall we will just be starting off how any business starts. We are asking for these funds so that we can get our feet underneath us and hit the ground running. • We believe that our mission needs to spread to the whole world, but we need to start expanding. • We need your help, to start our company’s engines and to help us start a company that will have lasting foundations in this town, and hopefully grow to be known throughout the state and country. • We will start advertising with brochures and fliers and we will be sure to list Angel funds as our sponsor in every advertisement

9. Evaluate • If all of these needs are met then I suspect a dramatic change in profits in the upcoming sixty days. • We have an upcoming barbeque in fourteen days. With extra staff on hand it will make us around four times more productive on getting the word out to our sponsors. • Also with the new office space and new technology we have a place where people can come in personally and ask us questions. • With the new technology we have new possible ways to contact our sponsors through email and faxes.

10. Evaluate • This would all lead to a very significant jump in productivity and hopefully an increase in income. • Also in a few months’ time we will be having a walk/run marathon. Having our own office space would be great because we could start the marathon right at our own building and personally have our potential employees run with the community and help raise awareness to our cause. • Finally, we hope that in two months’ time our little town we will all know who we are and what we do. We are also hoping that we will possibly have raised enough money so that we can buy a mobile vehicle unit to go to surrounding areas and raise more funds from other, new people.

11. Conclusion • We want your support because we believe that deforestation is a real problem and that’s why we need your support. • Its not just that we want to make a living but we really want to stop this problem and change the way the world uses trees.
