  2. Háganloahora • Form the past participle (ado, ido). Remember, there are irregular past participles too. • Hablar • Tener • Escribir • Ser • Ir • Beber • Viajar • hacer

  3. Review your quizzes. You will need to know the past participle for the two new tenses.

  4. El pretérito perfecto • You use this tense to say what has happened. • It refers to something that was completed at an indefinite time in the past but still has an effect on the present. • It is also used to refer to something that has always been true.

  5. Formation • Take the verb “haber” and conjugate in these forms and add the past participle of the verb. • he hemos • has • ha han

  8. El pluscuamperfecto • We use this tense to say what had happened. • We use this tense to refer to an action that was completed at an indefinite time before a past moment.
