  2. What universal topic did I choose? I choose courage because of how well it relates to the TV shows I watch and Oedipus Rex I watch : • “Numb3rs” • “Psych”

  3. Courage in Oedipus Rex In the story of Oedipus Rex he shows his courage after his wife dies, he found out the truth, and gouged his eyes out. After this he still had the courage to banish himself to save his people.

  4. Courage in Shawn Spencer In the show psych the main character Shawn Spencer is pretending to be a psychic detective for the santa-barbra police department, but in reality he is just very observant and good at piecing things together. In the seventh season he finally comes clean to his girlfriend who works at the police department, and this take a lot of courage for him to finally come clean about such a big lie.

  5. Courage in Don Ebbs In the TV show Numb3rs the main character Don Ebbs works for the FBI as a head detective on high profile cases. In one episode he has to go see a psychiatrist because he had shot some one in an earlier episodes. This is difficult for him because he is not one for sharing emotion. he shows courage because he goes and does it any way and it makes him fell better.

  7. How does this relate to me? These few examples of courage help me in times of trial and tribulation. I just imagine myself in their shoes and what I would do in that situation. This shows me how easy it is to deal with the things I am going through.

  8. Conclusion courage is something that effects our every day actions and decisions .if we don’t have courage we could never progress in life.
