  2. Safety Freedom from danger, risk or injury.

  3. Seat Belt A safety strap or harness designed to hold a person securely in a seat of a motor vehicle.

  4. Air Bag An autmotive passive restraint consisting of a bag that is designed to inflate upon collosion and prevent passengers from injury.

  5. Collision An accident resulting from violent impact of a moving object.

  6. Impact The striking of one body against another object.

  7. Cushion To protect from impact or other disturbing effects.

  8. Restraints An influence that inhabits movement; a limitation.

  9. Crash Test A procedure that allows you to fall, land, or hit with destructive force.

  10. Force Push or pull acting upon an object or body.

  11. Rollover A motor vehicle accident in which the vehicle overturns.

  12. Side Impact To forcefully make contact with side of vehicle.

  13. Head-On-Collision To come together with direct impact with front of two vehicles.

  14. Mass Amount of matter in an object.

  15. Newton's 1st Law A body remains at rest or in motion with a constant velocity unless acted upon by an external force.

  16. Momentum An impelling force of strength; ex. the car's momentum carried it off the road.

  17. Speed Distance traveled by a moving object per unit of time.

  18. Friction Force that opposes the motion of an object.
