  7. Spanish Economic Activities Primary Economic Activities: Agriculture • Produce fine vegetables , poultry ,dairy products, beef, pork ,grain ,Fruits especially Melons and grapes, olives ,and famous wines loved by many tourists and other European countries. • 27% of Spanish Land is Arable.

  8. Spanish Tertiary Activity: Tourism • Without Tourism the Spanish economy would be much worse than it already is . • It is the second most visited country in the world. • Most Spanish cities are tourist resorts which become ghost towns outside of the holiday season.

  10. Spanish Economics • Tourism aside, Spain are in bad shape economically. • They have the highest unemployment rate in europe. • Over 21% of spanish workers are unemployed.

Spanish Culture. • Spanish Culture is admired worldwide. • It is famous for music and dance, bullfights, fantastic beaches, and flamenco dancing. • Bullfighting is certainly one of the best-known-although at the same time most controversial-Spanish popular customs. • Flamenco dancing is also enjoyed and plays a big part in Spanish culture and life.

Brief Historical facts on Spain • Originally inhabited by the Celts , Spain became part of the Roman Empire in 206 B.C. • Spain was at the centre of the era of exploration, giving them huge power and wealth . Colonies conquered by Spain at this time include , Mexico by Cortes (1519-1521) and Peru by Pizarro (1532-1533). • The Spanish Monarchy Became the most strongest in the world. • One of the most famous explorers, Christopher Colombus had a lot to do with Spain. Although Christopher Colombus was Italian, his voyage was sponsered by king Philip 2 and queen Isabella,to try and find India. Whilst trying to find india, he accidently found America,And the rest is History.

  13. The Spanish Dream Team • The Current Spanish International team are regarded and admired as the best team to ever play football. • They astonished the globe when they won the two biggest international competitions, three in a row. Euro 2008 ,world cup 2010,andeuro 2012.

Spanish Football • Stars that play for Spain include Xavi, Iniesta, Pique, Silva, Casillas,Torres,Fabregas,Villa and much more. • Spanish Football fans are Blessed to have the two best teams in the world Fc Barcelona and Real Madrid Cf. • The best player in the world Lionel Messi plays for Fc Barcelona. • Spain also boast the biggest Stadium in europe ,The Nou Camp.
