  5. HARD SHIPS • There was 2 fires in 1942 and after when Ole died. • The business at one point was about to be bankrupt • Ole died before success

  6. TIME LINE • 1935 FIRST WOODEN DUCK • 1936 FIRST MOTTO IS CREATED “only the best is good enough” • 1939 HIRES THE 10th EPLOYEE • 1942 A FIRE DESTROYS ALL THE STOCK • 1943 GAINS ITS 43rd EMPLOYEE

  7. TIME LINE • 1946 PAINTED WODDEN BLOCKS • 1947 BUYS A PLASTIC MOLDING MACHINE FROM UK • 1948 FIRST PINBALL GAME • 1949 PLASTIC BLOCKS ARE PRODUCED • 1952 FIRST TRACTOR IS RELEASED

  8. TIME LINE • 1952 BUILT A NEW PLANT • 1935 RENAMED BRICKS TO LEGO BRICKS • 1954 FIRST WINDOWS AND DOORS ARE MADE • 1955 TOWN SET IS RELEASED WITH CARS • 1957 LIGHT BULB BRICKS ARE MADE

  9. TIME LINE • 1957 IS UPDATED BY STEM AND TUBE DESIGN • Ole PASSES AWAY • 1960 A FIRE DESTROYS THE WHOLE WOODEN TOY STORAGE • 1961 WHEELS ARE RELEASED • 1961-1962 AIRPORT BUILT AND LEGOLAND BUILT

  10. TIME LINE • 1966 battery powered train is made • 1966-now NEW SETS A MADE
