  10. Creativity • Advertising is an ART not a business. • People want to be entertained. If you can do that you can get them to listen. • In his ads you know what he is selling, your not left confused or wondering what the point of it was. They are direct, to the point, but most importantly you want to watch because they grab your interest.

His Agency • In Los Angeles • Chiat/Day • Given room to be creative, known as Advertising City. • Divided into “neighborhoods” that are reached by walking down “Main Street.” • “You can’t force people to be creative, but you can create an environment where creativity is more likely to happen.”
