  13. The Methodist Church in Ireland directs its members to give 1% of income (post-tax) to their World Development & Relief Fund.

  14. This year World Development & Relief has distributed £180,000 / €210,000 to its partner organisations.

  15. If Irish Methodists gave 1% of income, a conservative estimate is that our church would have £10 million / €12 million with which to bring long-term change to this world of poverty and injustice.

  16. Consider taking on the challenge of ‘1%’ and change the world for the materially poor and oppressed.

  17. Setting up a standing order is the easiest way to spread your giving. Forms are in the WDR annual report.
