  3. Watch and listen the speech carefully and try to: • Guess the reason behind this speech? • While you are watching, write down vocabulary words that you or your classmate may have troubles with their meanings.

  6. It seems that Obama has been attacked and he is responding to his contestants. • Obama has been accused of being out of touch with people (Americans).

  7. Watch again and prepare to find the following from the speech: Question Tag question Modals: can, could, should, may, might, would, etc… Conditionals: if, unless.

  11. Get into groups based on students’ districts and discuss the following: • Are you following the Parliamentary Election ‘08. • Discuss the reason why an early election will be held this year. • Discuss some of the parties and candidates that are in your district.
