  2. Coronally-positioned Flap: A split-thickness flap that is advanced coronally to gain root coverage. Indication:to correct shallow gingival recession when an adequate band of attached gingiva ( 3 mm or greater) is present apical to the site of recession.

  3. Frenectomy: Surgical excision of a frenum Indication: Shallow vestibule in combination with a high frenal attachment
