Beratjenis air 1 gr/cm3 • Hitunglahberapa liter air yang harusditambahkankedalam pot agar tanahkeringudaratersebutmencapaikapasitaslapangan.

  4. Solusi • Berattanah /pot = 15 kg keringudara • Kadar lengaskeringudara = 9 % • Kadar lengaskapasitaslapangan = 28 %. Beratjenis air 1 gr/cm3 Air yang harusditambahkanuntukmencapaikadarlengaskapasitaslapangan = 28 % - 9 % = 19 % Berattanahkeringmutlakdalam 15 kg tanahkeringudara = (100/109) X 15 kg = 13,76 kg Air yang harusditambahkan = 19 % X 13,76 kg = 2,6144 kg = 2,6144 liter = 2616,4 ml

Kadar Lengastanah = berat air dalamtanah / berattanahkeringmutlak X 100 % Kadar lengastanah = 9 % berarti berat air = 9 bagian berattanahkeringmutlak = 100 bagian Berattanahkeringmutlak (100 bagian) + berat air (12 bagian) = 100 % (= 15 kg) Makaberattanahkeringmutlak = 100 / (100 + 9) X berattanahkeringudara(15 kg).
