What type of drug do you suspect? • High blood pressure, seizure, fast heartbeat • Pinprick pupils, shallow breathing • Large pupils, clammy skin • Fast heartbeat, hot skin, hallucinating

Tales from the Poisoner’s Handbook • You will be reading two webcomics based on chapters from The Poisoner’s Handbook, by Deborah Blum. • Last night, a movie version premiered on PBS. • You will be investigating cyanide and arsenic poisoning, and how one tests for each. • The Fatal Fumes • The Murderous Metal • The link is on Ms. Bloedorn’s website.
