1)Who is the player? IkerCasillias, he was born on the 20thof May 1981 in Mostoles, Spain. A Spanish football goal Keeper and also plays for Real Madrid.
2)What club, team or country does he/she play for? IkerCasilias plays for Real Madrid, as he also captains the Spanish national team.
3)What is the player’s background, how long have they been playing, what positions does he/she play? IkerCasilias, or Saint Iker as he is normally called is one of the best if not the best goalkeeper in the world. He captains both Real Madrid Football Club as well as the Spanish national team. When Casilias was 19 He entered the first team of football in 2000, and has since engraved his name in the history books for being one of the best goalkeepers in history, as well as winning almost every single trophy there is for national and club level. Casilias lifted the World Cup as he captained spain to win the final against Netherlands in 2010.
4)What does this player do on the field that makes them so good? Casilias’s leadership, calmness as well as great reflexes and reactions makes him the best at what he does. He uses both hands effectively to block any shot, his jump is as well very astonishing, as he manages to reach the corner of the net at any moment.
5)Why do you enjoy watching this particular player more than others? I enjoy watching this player more than others because I like his ways in leading and captaining his team. Its something really special and I want to know how he felt. 2)What does it feel like to be Realmadrids Captain, to have so much pressure on your shoulders every time you step in the field? I want to know how to handle pressure. 3)What do you think of your chances of beating Barcelona this season, and about the upcoming 2012 UEFA Cup? Because I’m excited to see this football game. This game is going to be the main event of the year.
