  1. New Horizons Mike & Ludmilla

  2. Status • Flew past Jupiter last month • Tremendous data but officially we have not seen any of it • Flying down the magnetotail for another month

  3. Instruments • Alice - UV spectrometer (sim to Rosetta) • LEISA - spectral imager • LORRI - long range visible imager • MVIC - visible imager • PEPSSI - ion analyzer • REX - Radio science (upside down compared to most other missions) • SDC - Student dust counter • SPICE - navigation • SWAP - solar wind monitor • Total 1-2 Gbytes at Jupiter (early estimate, needs to be updated)

  4. Archiving Plan • Sample FITS-formatted data distributed to interested nodes • Substantial input from Rings and Radio Science as well as internal SBN review • Feedback sent to NH team • Proper PDS-labelled sample archive should be available in 2 weeks • SOC meeting with science team, Apr 23-24 • Peer review of Jovian data, in Boulder, Jun 6-7 • Ludmilla will be browbeating nodes for external reviewers • JDAP to be released in late CY07 • After liens are corrected and data re-delivered to PDS

  5. SBN Reviews Jan-Jun • Rosetta - all data through DI events, ESTEC, Feb 7-8 • New Horizons - internal review of raw and PDS-labelled archives (2x), UM • Comets, including DI (calibrated ver 2) + higher level products, Stardust Calibrated Images (ver 1) + others, UM Apr 30 • Dawn ORR, JPL, May 8 • Rosetta D-review, distributed, April-May • Asteroids, PSI, May 24 • New Horizons peer review, SwRI Boulder, Jun 6-7 • Dawn Data Pipeline peer review, TBD
