The CPF-editor • Why use the CPF-editor? • Possible to validate forms before distribution to EC • Highlights mandatory information • Ease of use for coordinator and commission • Where can find it? • http://www.cordis.lu/fp6/contract-prep.htm • ftp://ftpnl.cordis.lu/pub/fp6/documents/cpf_editor_v15.zip • CPF-data file • Sent from EC-Project Officer to coordinator • Pre-edited with data from your proposal, but don’t expect it to be correct nor complete! • Distributed by coordinator to all partners

CPF-editor pitfalls • No autosave or save on exit dialogue • If you click File->Exit or terminate the editor all work is lost • Keep track of your ’participant number’ • It is fairly easy to start editing someone elses form • Check your locale setting in windows • Preferrably use English UK on ALL computers used for editing the CPFs • Done under ’Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional Options -> General -> Your locale'

  9. Scope of our work • Follows the development of the Framework programme • Act as information and advisory point for every aspect of the Framework programme • Analyses and evaluates the Swedish participation • Assist companies, universities etc in finding research partners
