  1. Volunteer list posted on own link. Please look at list and contact Steven.Zweifach@sprint.com to help on Friday night and / or Saturday. • Track set up begins at 6pm Friday. • Trials of Cars – ONLY Friday 1/27 7-9 pm only (These are not Time-Trials. The timer will not be active) • Racing begins 11 am Saturday 1/28 • Registration & Car Impound lot are open and manned Friday 1/27 7-9pm & Saturday 1/28 8-10:0oam. Racers are encouraged to register Friday Night. • All racing and awards should be completed by 3pm Saturday 1/28 • Scouts are not allowed to touch tracks at any time. Instant electrocution and race elimination is anticipated. • Crowd Control to be enforced at all times during registration and event • Dens will be assigned to a track, and will race against other dens on the same track. See the following sheet for race logistics and race management. • Each den will be assigned a post time and track for their initial race. • All non-speed judging will occur prior to any racing.   2. Pack 301 Speed Competition Track 1 Dens 3,8,13,1,6,10 The 3 lowest times over 4 heats from each den move to the semi-finals. 18 cars move to semi finals. Medals to 1st,2nd,3rd place in each den Track 1 18 cars compete over 4 heats, 2 cars move ahead to finals, 16 are eliminated 18 2 Track 1 4 cars compete over 4 heats for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Trophies awarded to 1st,2nd,3rd place Track 2 Den 2,11,12,4,7,9,5 The 3 lowest times over 4 heats from each den move to the semi-finals. 18 cars move semi finals. Medals to 1st,2nd,3rdplace in each den Track 2 21 cars compete over 4 heats, 2 cars move ahead to finals, 19 are eliminated 2 21 DEN Time Trials Track Semi Finals Pack Finals

  4. St Mary's’ Cub Scout Pack 301 Pine Wood DerbyJan 28, 2012 All drivers except the final 4 finalists must get their cars from the impound manager anytime after the semi-finals. Times shown are appropriate times, and drivers are responsible to be on-time

Siblings are encouraged to build and race their cars • Sibling races will be one run per car. • The timer will be active for the sibling races to help select the fastest cars. • Sibling races may be divided over the two tracks to expedite the race. • Siblings will receive medals based upon their car design. • Please contact Steven.Zweifach@sprint.com with any questions or concerns • Management take no responsibility to damage to any car.
