  4. DRINK AND YOU Do you drink alcohol every day? How much do you drink a week? Do you ever get drunk? How often? Do you need a drink to relax? Do you drink with other people or on your own? Do you regularly get a craving for a drink?

  5. SMOKING AND YOU Do you smoke? Cigarettes? Cigars? A pipe? How many do you smoke a day? Do your parents smoke? Do you like going to parties where smoking is allowed? Do you prefer smoking or non-smoking areas in a restaurant? How do you behave when you’re close to smoking people in a public area?

  6. Does yourpartnerhave a problem? What’s the difference between a habit and an addiction? Do you think your partner has a habit or an addiction? Why? Are some types of addictions more socially acceptable than others? If so, which types and why do you think this is so?
