MAREMEDAdapting to climate change • Promote better assessment at the Mediterranean and local levels of climate change and extreme weather events; - homogenization of coastal vulnerability maps, - contribution to the setting up of a network of Mediterranean observatories on coastlines and extreme weather events; - pooling of the basin data for scientific purposes

  15. MAREMEDPollution • Contributing to pollution control of the Mediterranean by an assessment of the operational implementation of - the Water Framework Directive (WFD), - the Marine strategy - REACH, - the management of accidental marine pollution (trainings, assessment, vulnerability atlases)
