  2. Strategy for Student Outcome, Curriculum and Student Survey • Identify student outcomes • Continually review and update to achieve desired outcomes • Develop e-learning options • Develop a survey tool that helps us assess the outcomes • See your packet for sample survey tool

Five Objectives of Our CTC Training • Equip students to understand the big picture of God’s Word • Train students to develop a biblical worldview • Provide students with a biblical foundation for critical and practical living • Furnish disciple-making skills • Supply training for teaching Cover-to-Cover.

  6. Five Steps to Successful Fundraising • Step One: Read the document A Biblical Basis for Fundraising at Village Schools of the Bible. • Step Two: ‘Pray’ (Matthew 7:7) • Step Three: ‘Do Not Be Anxious’ (Matthew 6:31-34) • Step Four: ‘Walk by faith’ (2 Corinthians 5:7) • Step Five: Work at it!!

  7. Spread the Message of VBS and Let God work • Existing donors: monthly update letter from Exec Director. • Large donors ( >$500) personal contact from Exec Director 3 times per year. Increase donation by 20% each year. • Consider faith based marketing firm for direct mail solicitation. • Ministry partners: contact 92 per year. • Increase first time givers by 25% each year. • Seek four sponsoring churches by 2016. • Look for opportunities to preach at local churches to give a “taste” of VSB. • Create position for development officer.

  9. Strategy for Short Courses • Short courses help make disciples. • Short courses can be used as a platform for introducing VSB to a larger audience. • Short courses allow our teachers a larger audience. • Short courses open doors for our signature course—Cover-to-Cover Bible Survey.

  11. Current Short Courses • Biblical Counseling • The Life of Christ • The Life of Paul Reminder: Our main ministry is Cover-to-Cover. Churches that invite us to their church want the Cover-to-Cover Bible Survey Course.
