  2. Rainbow Parrotfish • The Rainbow Parrotfish is brightly colored and surely looks like a rainbow. • At night they make sleeping bags out of slimy bubbles for protection against predators.

  3. Asian elephant • Elephants are the worlds largest land animal. • Their trunks contains more than 100,000 mucles.

  4. Amur Leopards • There is 2000 Amur Leopards in captivity. • They have longer legs than any leopard for walking in snow

  5. Whale sharks • Whale sharks can lay up to 300 pups per year. • Whale sharks are the largest species of sharks in the world

  6. Leatherback Sea Turtle • The Leatherback Sea Turtle was put on the endangered list on June 2 1970. • The Leatherback Sea Turtle can weigh over 2,000 pounds.

  7. orangutan • They use leaves as umbrellas. • Orangutans also use leaves as cups to drink from.

  8. African Wild Dog • These dogs are very social , and packs have been known to share food , and to assist weak or ill members. • Each animal has it’s own unique coat pattern , and all have big rounded ears.

  9. Red Wolf • Red wolves walk on their toes, with their heels above the ground. • Unlike the rest of it’s coat, the red wolf has cream colored fur on it’s chest, which helps prevent the loss of heat in the winter.

  10. Giant Panda • A typical panda will eat about 28 pounds of bamboo a day. • Cubs are born white and develop their spots later

  11. Pomace Fly • They eat roting leaves, bar flowers, fruit. • They live on the islands of Hawaii

  12. Tigers • The tiger is the biggest species of the cat family. • A group of tigers is called ambush or steak.

  13. Mouse Lemur • The mouse lemur has been endangered since 1975. • The mouse lemur weighs no less than 2.4 oz.

  14. Sloths • There are 6 different types of sloths. • Their size is 23 in.

  15. Puma There are six sub species of Pumas The mating call of the Puma is a harsh scream

  16. Greek Tortoise • The Greek tortoise is a reptiel. • The Greek tortoise is ten inches long.

  17. Snow Leopard • Snow Leopards can jump up to 5o feet! • There are only about 6,000 of them left and there only natural enemies are humans, gold eagles, and other snow leopards.

  18. Aye-aye • Aye-ayes’ tails are larger than their bodies. • Aye-ayes can hear bugs hiding under tree bark.

  19. Bonobo • Bonobos talk with high pitch barking sounds. • One group of bonobos can have up to 100 members.

  20. Let’s Save Them!!! • Every animal deserves to live. • Without these animals, other populations will increase or decrease. • We would like to see some of these animals in zoos. • Some of these animals may help us in ways we don’t know yet….ex..cure cancer? • Turn in poachers!
