Facts • CGI was first used in 1973 for a movie named Westworld. • Star wars used CGI for the scenes of the space battles. • A computer-generated model is created in three dimensional. • CGI is used in films, television programs and commercials. • CGI allows a single artist to produce content without the use of actors. • Video games most often use real-time computer graphics. • CGI can be used to visualize a wide variety of complex graphic concept.

  3. CGI attempts do virtually with numbers, what a camera does with light.

  4. Definition • Animatied graphics produced by computers and used in films or on television.

  5. In designing these virtual environments, they create and position models, cameras and lights in a similar way it would be done in a real studio.

  6. Movies Movies made with CGI are: cars, a bugs life, monsters inc., ratatouille, finding nemo, toy story 3, toy story 2, toy story, the incredibles, wall-e, and up.

  7. CGI can do things that you cant do in reality. 2 companies that use CGI are pixar and disney.

  8. Using CGI you can create artwork for movies and books and render product prototypes.

  9. CGI is used for visual effects because the quality is often higher and effects are more controllable than other more physically based processes.
