  2. How important are friends to me? Friends are important because they give support, advice and encouragement. A good friend is a positive influence on life and learning. Friends should be chosen with care and treated with respect. My friends are an important part of my life because they are fun, interesting, and inspirational. They help me to be the best person I can be.

  3. Are friends more important in the Middle School than they were in Elementary School? As I grow older, my friends are becoming more important. I choose my friends more carefully now because their influence is greater. My family is still important but my friends and I are going through similar issues at the same time, so their opinions are important.

  4. How do you tell the difference between false friends and true friends? A true friend is someone who will always help and give honest feedback. They respect and tolerate differences. A true friend will always help even if it is inconvenient. A false friend is insincere and untrustworthy. He might gossip, spread rumors, and be unreliable.

  5. What kind of friend do you see yourself as? • I am an honest, loyal friend. I help people who are in need and I try not to judge others.

  6. What are 4-5 essential attributes you like to have in a friend? • 1. Loyalty • 2. Courtesy • 3. Kindness • 4. Happiness
