  4. Important: speaker to be thinking & listener to be concentrating and respecting the speaker.

  5. In group situations not everyone hears the same thing the speaker is saying

  6. Better listeners don’t always have better hearing.

  7. Whole body listening • Eye contact • Standing/sitting still • Not talking over the speaker • Thinking about what the speaker is saying
