  11. Which meeting is more effective and productive? Why? The second meeting is more effective because they have the definite and clear purpose, they reach the decision to solve the problem. In the first meeting they don’t have the agenda and start to argue. And the chairperson doesn’t control and manage the meeting. How does Larry chair the second meeting? Firstly, Larry declares the purpose of the meeting. Secondly, he asks the others opinions. Thirdly, he lets the staff discuss with each other, and they reach an agreement- lower the sales quotas for bonuses.
