Component sequence • Antenna --> low loss cable (LMR400 or Heliax), ~1m: • expect <30K from cable & connectors • Into noise diode -20dB coupler, ==> -0.3dB? ==> • ~30K, incl connectors • Bandpass filters: • -0.3 - -0.8 dB ==> 50K • Coupler thru SMA & minibend into LNA. LNA ==> • ~80-100K, incl. Connectors • Design requirement is therefore 200K, goal 150K.
