  2. Kindergarten Business • Confidentiality- Teacher should be the one to communicate things about students. • Yard Supervision- Please be familiar with the rules and your spot for yard duty. Be present when out on the yard. • Absent? Please contact the attendance line or the front office and send email to teacher • Independent Study for absences 5 days or more • Recess Discussion-Problems/Concerns • Success Tickets • Feathers for November • Reporting using incident reports • Encourage “Personal Best” work! • “Do it nice or do it twice”

  6. Kindergarten EventNative American Day • Thursday, November 15 • Time: 10:45-12:10 • Parents and families are welcome to watch us learn about Native American life. (Sorry, siblings are not allowed to participate).

  7. Native American Day Children will dress in the Native American Crafts we have made CORN CENTER: Grind corn, plant corn, taste cornbread, and popcorn BERRY CENTER: Collect cranberries, wash and cook. Taste cranberry sauce, cranberry juice HUNT CENTER: Decorate spears with yarn and feathers for “Buffalo” Hunt and go “fishing” TEEPEE CENTER: Gather firewood, learn about the set up of a new village, and do a rain dance
