Stent Graft vs. Balloon Angioplasty for Failing Dialysis-Access Grafts Primary outcome better with stent graft vs. angioplasty Procedural success for stent graft vs. angioplasty: 94% vs. 73%, p < 0.001 Infection for stent graft vs. angioplasty: 6% vs. 2%, p = 0.28; thrombotic occlusion: 33% vs. 21%, p = 0.1; pseudoaneurysm: 5% vs. 2%, p = 0.45 (p = 1.0) (p < 0.001) Trial design: Patients with prosthetic hemodialysis graft stenosis randomized to balloon angioplasty or stenting with PTFE stent graft.
