  15. Homeroom Stuff • Paperwork will count as a homework grade. • Full points by the end of the week • Late credit and phone calls starting Monday • Mr. Rickard hates calling home in honors classes. It makes grading harsher for everyone.

  16. Seating Chart part 2 • The seating chart remains in effect until I can reliably call everyone by name. • After that, you are welcome to sit where you please as long as the seats that are empty on the chart remain empty. • I reserve the right to revert to the seating chart if your grades go to insert negative adjective

  17. Summer Assignment • Due when you got here. • Pass them in now for full credit. • As of now, they are late and subject to the late assignment grading. • Phone calls for missing summer assignments start tomorrow after school. • Mr. Rickard really hates calling home for honors class summer assignments. • If you can’t be bothered, now is a great time to switch to academic physics.

  18. Grading Scale and Syllabus • You’re all in an honors class. • I won’t insult your ability to read. • Read the Syllabus and Grading Scale sheet. • Sign the bottom. • Have a parent/guardian sign the bottom. • Due Monday.

  19. Clicker Assignments • We will be using remote control clickers at various points throughout the year. • You are assigned a certain number and in order to receive the correct grade you will need to use your assigned clicker. • Clicker Number Assignments • Survey (Time Permitting)

  20. Parting Thoughts • Make sure you have a notebook ready for tomorrow. • Bring your completed homeroom papers with you tomorrow (by Friday at the latest.) • Bring your signed syllabus with you tomorrow (by Monday at the latest.) • Summer assignments are past due.
