  2. Accessing Neo Remotely • There may be times where you will need to access neo self service outside of a UTS campus. There are some basic criteria that you need to access neo remotely: • You have logged into neo previously and have your neo user ID and password ( this is often your staff ID and webmail password). If you have not logged into neo previously you will need to synchronise your account at:http://www.neo.uts.edu.au/about/accindex.html • You use Internet Explorer version 5.5 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or above. Neo is not compatible with Netscape. • You are accessing neo during the hours of 8am and 8pm EST.

Accessing Neo Remotely • Step 1.To access neo remotely you need to go to the UTS homepage http://www.uts.edu.au/ • or bookmark the remote access page http://www.neo.uts.edu.au/remote/ then skip to step 4. • Step 2.If you visit the UTS homepage you will need to navigate to the neo remote page by selecting “Neo Finance &HR/Payroll system” from the Quicklinks menu. Select Neo Finance & HR/Payroll system from the quicklinks menu.

  4. Accessing neo remotely • Step 3. Select Accessing neo remotely from the menu on the left. • Step 4. Click on the blue button in the top left corner to access neo remotely Click on Logging into neo remotely Click on the blue box to access neo remotely.

  5. Accessing neo remotely Step 5. Enter your Username (Usually your staff ID) and your password ( this should be the same as your neo login). Click Sign In when complete. The realm should default to “Users” Step 6. Select Neo.

  6. Accessing neo remotely Step 7. Click on the blue button to login to neo. Step 8. Enter your username (staff ID) and password to access neo. Click on the blue button to access neo.
