  2. Once a rich man had a son who fell in a bad company. He tried his best to set him right but in vain.

  3. One day the father brought a basket of apples. The boy wanted to have them.

  4. The father promised to give them all the apples next day. In the mean time, he gave the boy a rotten apple and asked him to place it amidst the good ones.

  5. The son did so. Next day the father asked him to get the apples. But he found them all rotten in the basket.

  6. The father said to him, “just as a single rotten apple has spoiled all the good ones, similarly bad company spoils the good boys” The boy got the point and gave up the company of bad boys

  7. MORAL A black sheep inflects the whole flock.
