PSA09 Amendment – November 2010 New MOU signed with the Cabinet Office (October 2010) and the new Public Sector customer value and benefits are available in the PSA09 Amendment as of November 1, 2010: • Re-introduction of PSA09 Schedule 1 Subscription Enterprise Agreements: • Enterprise Products are heavily discounted for Subscription Agreements • Schedule 1 will be available for the duration of PSA09 • Most cost-effective way of purchasing Microsoft software • Inherent ability to ‘right-size’ the software to the organisation • Enables organisations to transition more easily to the cloud • New ‘Public Sector Packages’: • New ‘Public Sector Packages’ based on supporting role types within Government • Packages support the Government aspiration of a standardised desktop to reduce ICT costs • Flexibility and choice have been retained whilst being simpler in design • CoreIO must be purchased across 100% of the qualified desktop estate and there is a new minimum of 50% of qualified users licensed for Microsoft Office • NOTE: The Buying Solutions packages that were available are now retired • Cloud Computing Options: • Special Government pricing is available for BPOS* • Announcements will be made in due course for the release of Office 365 in H1 2011 • *NOTE: The additional BPOS discount is a Microsoft offer, not a contractual component of PSA09

PSA09 Amendment - Pricing Schedules Schedule 1 – Enterprise Agreement (Subscription) • The most advantageous level of discounts and concessions for customers for Enterprise products • Applies to both Standard Microsoft Desktop Packages and the new Public Sector Packages Schedule 2 – Enterprise Agreement (Perpetual) • Perpetual Licensing discount for Enterprise products • Applies to Standard Microsoft Desktop Packages only Schedule 3 – Select / Select Plus (L&SA) • Schedule 3 remains unchanged • Ideal for low volume ad-hoc perpetual licence purchases with the benefits of Software Assurance Schedule 4 – Select / Select Plus (L Only) • Schedule 4 also remains unchanged • Ideal for low volume ad-hoc perpetual licence purchases Schedule 5 – Premier Support Services • Unique set of technical support services from Microsoft: assistance in problem resolution; advice for service planning, risk and health assessments etc.

  4. Public Sector Packages and Role Types Knowledge Worker Power users who need the best possible experience to enhance productivity in complex environments and critical business situations. Enterprise Productivity Package Provides standard productivity tools for people who need to process, collaborate with and manage information, work in teams and make decisions. Information Worker Professional Productivity Package Provides entry level productivity tools for people who require some capability or have light usage needs, but enables them to build skills and perhaps contribute more at the IW level later. Task Worker Standard Productivity Package Provides low cost basic access to technology for public sector workers who do not enjoy the benefits today; such as email, portal, identity etc. Deskless Worker Deskless Worker Packages

New ‘Public Sector’ Packages   Productivity Package Options: a range of Office Suite Clients, collaboration and unified comms Minimum 50% coverage req’d of qualified desktops Frontend Device Infrastructure Options 100% coverage req’d of qualified desktops CoreIO Infrastructure (Rich Client) Package Windows Upg with MDOP, CoreCAL, Forefront (optional) Enterprise Productivity Package Office Professional Plus + Enterprise CAL for advanced collab, communication, and BI tools Professional Productivity Package The full Office Professional Plus suite to deliver Enterprise level productivity & collab experience CoreIO Infrastructure (Thin Client) Package VDA for Thin Client with MDOP, CoreCAL, Forefront (optional) Standard Productivity Package A basic version of Office to deliver a basic productivity and collaboration experience Deskless Worker Packages E-mail, and SharePoint access for workers without devices Low cost Option for non-office based users 

PSA09 Amendment – In Summary • NEW: Schedule 1 available now for Enterprise Subscription Agreements • NEW: Improved Public Sector Packages available now for Enterprise Subscription Agreements with a new minimum of 50% for Office on qualified desktops • NO CHANGE: Select remains the same and BPOS discounts are available for Public Sector customers • NO CHANGE: EAP and ECI value proposition and benefits remain the same
