  1. Arizona Dialogues provides an opportunity for diverse cultural groups to come together to share and learn from each other around the many facets of stigma. Stigma affects personal and community life as well as mental health/substance use recovery, services, treatments and policies. Their will be a brief discussion on Trauma Informed Care.Sharing our perspectives, experiences and our feelings about how stigma affects us and our community, leads to a greater understanding among the participants … which has proven to reduce stigma! Trained facilitators, Maria Esposito LMSW, CPRP and Chris Grosse M.A. guide the group in non-confrontational discussion. YOU are invited to participate in an Arizona Dialogue! On the topic of What are the health concerns of persons with mental illness? Emerging trends in Behavioral Health.A facilitated discussion Tuesday, March 26th, 2013 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Flagstaff Public Library-Eastside Branch 3000 N. 4th St., Flagstaff (Please check in at the Front Desk to be directed to the meeting room.) The Arizona Dialogues is a program sponsored by the Arizona Stigma Reduction Committee, which is supported by ADHS/DBHS and its Office of Individual & Family Affairs through a federal Olmstead Grant. The Committee is made up of individuals, family members, advocates and behavioral health professionals from around the state who are dedicated to fulfilling Arizona’s Stigma Reduction Initiative.
