  2. All About Me • Current junior high history teacher at St. Ambrose School • Taught for four years • B.S. in Elementary Education from SFA • Working on my Masters’ in Educational Technology at Lamar

  3. Graduate School *I have taken the following classes so far *Research for Teachers *Concepts of Educational Technology *Teaching with Technology

Information I have learned Technology Professional Growth Important technology terms Internet usage Security issues Action research plans Implementation of Interactive Lessons Technology resources How to use different technology resources How to assist other faculty and staff members in technology Using concepts learned in graduate school to my own classroom

What our Technology plan says • Utilize all integral tools in technology that reflect the catholic faith • Be able to stay current with technology and provide opportunities for further development • Provide training and on-site classes from title II funding • Encourage schools to apply for E-rate funding • Continue ongoing implementation that reflects student achievement on a daily basis.

  6. National Technology Plan Infrastructure Learning • Each goal in the plan addresses one of the five essential components of learning powered by technology: Assessment Teaching Productivity

  8. Responsibilities 1.) Strive for ongoing implementation 2.) Create follow-up evaluations 3.) Make sure progress is occurring in original goals

  9. Where to go now? Implement technology resources once proper training is in order.

  10. The Impact + • Technology should impact both teaching and learning • Need to implement technology plan in instructional strategies and lessons • If resources are available, we need to have the training to foster our student’s learning
