  1. Deformation of diamond Rotational diamond anvil cell Laser heating Raman system at TTU Compression of Al4C3 Raman measurement Raman Spectroscopy for High P-T by laser-heated Diamond Anvil CellYanzhang Ma, Texas Tech University, DMR 0619215 Developing a Raman system for laser heated diamond anvil cell. Development of a rotational diamond anvil cell Raman measurements of MoS2. Compression of Al4C3 to 33.5 GPa determined that it is harder than it was thought. Measurement of diamond deformation under pressure. Compression of layered lubricant materials TiS2, MoS2, WS2, MoSe2, WSe2. They are important to joint of a spacecraft. High pressure behavior of nanomaterials ZnO nanowire, Au/Cu film, SiC, and Fe3O4 nano crystalline. High pressure resistivity of semiconductors CdTe, CdSe, and HgS, and melton olivine.

  2. Raman Spectroscopy for High P-T by laser-heated Diamond Anvil CellYanzhang Ma, Texas Tech University, DMR 0619215 Design and device ordering of a laser heating system for the Spallation Neutrons At High Pressure, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Graduation with degree of 2 PhD students, Emre Selvi and Resul Aksoy. Supporting of 4 PhD students, Hongyang Zhu, Dongbin Hou, Lingyun Guo, and Cheng Ji, and 1 master student, Yingying Luan.
