  1. All about Country Music and Their Artists Country music is a special style of American music which was born in the rural areas of the South and West of America. It was during the twentieth century, when this country or Western music came into life. Initially, these country music artists used to call their music form as Western music. However, in the year 1949, when these music was taken up by the recording Industry, it got the name of country music. The country music evolved from the traditional ballads, folks and village songs which were sung by the people from England, Scotland and Ireland who came up in America and settled there. It can be said that these tracks had such an impact that it replaced the hillbilly music. Around the early half of the 1920s, a band cane up from the area of Southern mountains and started recording these traditional songs. The first such record which became an hit was recorded by John Carson in the year 1923. The best thing about these traditional rural songs was its vigor and the realistic tune. The lyrics of these tracks consisted of stories or narratives with a basic conclusion or moral.

  2. With growing popularity, these recordings influenced a huge amount of singers and musicians. Over time, many Pop rock music artists came up dealing with country music as well. Earlier, these country tracks were basically ballads or folk dance tunes which used instruments like fiddle and guitar. Apart from that, a rhythmic tune was also played over a guitar or banjo to make the song sound more basic and natural. Apart from these, instrument like dulcimer belonging to the Appalachian area, Harmonicas, Mandolins were also used. The vocals was generally done by a single voice. After commercialization, the songs gained a more popularity especially after the Second World War. These tracks are still loved by people due to realistic and natural approach with a perfect orchestral background. OohYah!
