  2. Unsere Schule trägt den Namen Kurt Tucholsky. Er lebte von 1890 bis 1935. To jest patron naszej szkoly. On żył od 1890 od 1935. Our school is named after Kurt Tucholsky. He lived from 1890 to 1935.

Die KTO ist eine integrierte Sekundarschule mit gymnasialer Oberstufe Das bedeutet, die Schüler können zu uns nach der Grundschulzeit (ca. 11 Jahre) kommen und dann bis zum Abitur an dieser Schule bleiben. Naszej szkołę można porównać z polskim lyzeum razem z gimnazjum. To znaczy, że po szkole post. uczniowie mogą wstać maturę po 13 lat. The KTO is an integrated comprehensive school with A-level. This means that the pupils can attend our school after primary school and can pass the Abitur graduation here.

  4. Wir haben 2 Schulgebäude, die nicht weit voneinander entfernt sind. Mamy dwie budynki, ktore są blisko siebie. We have two school buildings which are next to each other.

  5. Auf jedem Schulhof steht eine modernisierte Turnhalle. Do każdego budynku należy sala gym.,którzy są po remoncie A modern gym is on each school yard..

  6. Tucholsky und seine Texte begegnen uns überall auf dem Schulgelände. Tucholsky i swoje teksty spotkamy wszędzie w naszej szkole. Tucholsky and his quotations are visible all over the school area.

  7. Im Haus 1 sitzt unsere Schulleitung. Hier werden die naturwissenschaftlichen Fächer unterrichtet. W budynku nr. 1 dyrektorka i wizedyrektor mają swoje biura. Tu ucznowie mają chemii, biologii, matematyki i fyzyki. Our school management works in house one. All the scientific subjects are tought in this building.

  8. Im Haus 2 werden die Gesellschaftswissenschaften, Fremdsprachen und alle künstlerischen Fächer unterrichtet. W budynku nr.2 ucznowie mają niemiecki, języki obcy i sztuki. The foreign languages, art, music and the social sciences are tought in building two.

  9. Einen großen Raum nehmen an unserer Schule Kunst, Musik und Darstellendes Spiel ein. Sztuka, muzyka i teatr grają dużą rolę w życiu naszej szkoły. Art, music and drama have a major importance at our school.

  10. Unsere Schachspieler sind sehr erfolgreich. Szachowcy mają sukcesy. Our chess players are very successful.

  11. Der Brunnen auf dem Schulhof wurde von Schülern geplant und gebaut. Ucznowie planowali i budowali projekt przed szkołę. The well on our school yard was planned and built by our pupils.

  12. Als erste Fremdsprache lernt man an unserer Schule Englisch. Außerdem werden Russisch, Französisch und Latein angeboten. Pierwszy język obcy jest angielskim. Poza tym mamy rosyjcki, francuski i łacina. English is learnt as first foreign language at our school. Russian, French and Latin are also offered at our school.

  13. Im Schnee sieht unser Schulgelände besonders schön aus. Zimną nasza szkoła jest piękna. Covered with snow our school looks beautiful.

  18. Herr Kappa ist gemeinsam mit Herrn Dr. Nordmann für die gymnasiale Oberstufe zuständig. Pan Kappa z panem Nordmann koordynują klasy maturzystów. Mr. Kappa and Dr. Nordmann are responsible for the A-level pupils.

  20. Seit 2006 arbeiten unsere Schüler im Rahmen von eTwinning mit Schulen aus vielen verschiedenen europäischen Ländern zusammen. Naszy ucznowie współpracują w projekcie eTwinning z szkolami z różnych krajów w calej europie. Our pupils have worked with schools from different European countries in the eTwinning-project since 2006.

  21. 2009 haben wir ein großes Projekt in verschiedenen Sprachen zu Anne Frank gemacht. Dieses Bild haben spanische Schüler arrangiert. Projekt na temat Anne Frank robiliśmy w różnych językach w 2009 r.. Ta zdjęcia robili ucznowie z Włoch. We worked on a multi-lingual project about Anne Frank in 2009. This picture was arranged by Spanish pupils.

  22. Zum 20. Jahrestag des Mauerfalls haben wir gemeinsam mit italienischen Schülern einen Dominostein gestaltet. Na 20tej rocnicej wspadu muru berlinskiego pomalowaliśmy kamien papierowy z uczniami w Włoch. We designed a domino brick together with Italian pupils for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall.
